The Puffin Cam operates from mid May through August when seabirds are nesting at Egg Rock. The following collection of still photos are among the "highlights" viewed through the puffin cam during the summer of 2004. We hope to return the camera to Egg Rock next May.

Notes: The video shows certain key areas of the island where birds are likely to stay. Puffins are not always visible, but often other species like Black Guillemots and Laughing Gulls are seen. Be patient and watch for the puffins to come. As breeding and feeding of young progresses, it may focus on a particular puffin burrow so you can see the parents coming and going.
